OUR LIFE MEMBERS

THE GMAC HAS HAD TWO LIFE MEMBERS JOHN WINDRED AND PAT CROWE

They are both foundation members of our club and were awarded Life Membership for long and helpful service to the club. John maintained our strip for MANY years and has been on the Executive as long as any of us can remember. Pat occupied a position on the Executive, including President, for long periods and has been a great source of modeling information for members, always willing to share useful tips to those newer to our hobby. Sadly Pat died in 2021. He is missed by all. Pat was always ready for a chat at the field with allour members. He attended club days for a long time after he could no longer fly. Either Patty or Todd would drive him out to our field to let him watch others partake in his favourite hobby. Unfortunately we also lost John Windred who died after a long illness in 2022.
